My local area and the place where i was raised is in the middle of being demolished and the trees sadly are going with it, i saw that one tree in particular was being cut down and thought i would help myself to some pieces of it.
It turns out that these blocks of wood are far heavier than they may appear and i couldn't manage to get it very far, it weighed about 80kg and was quite difficult to grip plus i didn't want to get my clothes dirty so i had to let it go though i cant help but think that it would have made a nice table or something.
