Here is today's vlog! Murder Dog and I are still on Long Island, and we've spent the past couple of days seeing the kids when we can and exploring our options regarding her health. We also met with the veterinary oncologist to have Murder Dog's staples removed and discuss the plans going forward. Luckily this oncologist is very open to alternative treatments, and he seemed pleased that I had already started Murder Dog on CBD oil. We couldn't discuss that in too much detail, though, as he informed me that he had been threatened with the revocation of his license for discussing CBD oil as a possible treatment option. This is despite the fact that CBD oil remains perfectly legal. Thanks government...
The oncologist did inform me of another herbal supplement, I'm-Yunity, which the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School has been researching for the past several years, and has had some rather positive results. Upon further investigation, I found that the clinical trials are still open and that Murder Dog is a candidate to take part in the study. So, we are going to take a ride to Philly in a couple of days to meet with the researchers who are conducting the trials to have her screened and see if this is the route we are going to take. Then it's of to Virginia for our pet-sitting gig. It should prove to be an interesting couple of weeks!
