Now That is What I Call a Gold Bug!

Normally the term “gold bug” is a somewhat derogatory term for a precious metals enthusiast that endorses and advocates for owning gold.

Goldmoney advocates, employees and associates don’t generally consider themselves “gold bugs” because the term implies a sort of fanatical enthusiasm without critical thinking or analysis.

Although I certainly would call myself a precious metals enthusiast ... and I might in fact been a bit fanatical, I would like to think that it has been decades of extensive research that led me to these conclusions about gold being real money..

But what about ACTUAL gold bugs like this one:

In the name of education, I have to include the fact that one of the way these Gold Bugs turn gold is through...

Mating.

I will leave the implications of that information up to subjective intepretation.

I could stare at these Charidotella Sexpunctata (thats the scientific name) for a long time just marveling in their color.

If i ever see one in person I will be sure to feed it some sweet potato which they reportedly enjoy:
