Every Fri, Sat, and Sun evenings at 8 p.m, there is a spectacular light and sound show that is projected onto the historic arched building of El Palacio Centro Cultural in Campeche, lasting for around half an hour.
El Palacio is a beautiful colonial building fronting one side of the main square in the center of the city. It houses a library and a museum of Campeche city history.
Digital show is completely free to watch and the best viewing spot is from the Parque Principal, directly across from the building.
The show depicts many stories and characters of historical significance to the town. It is fun, entertaining and very much worth watching. The images and music are bright, vivid, lively and engaging.
We did not have any great expectations but were really surprised at how much we enjoyed what turned out to be an impressive show. This show is much more sophisticated and poetic than any light shows you may see and it should definitely not be missed when in Campeche.
It is absolutely delightful! We loved it.
Stay awesome and Steem on!
