I just received an e-mail from minds.com regarding an announcement, for those that do not know minds.com is a social media/blogging platform where users earn fiat currency through advertisements and paid subscriptions , i always thought that minds.com would greatly benefit by integrating some kind of blockchain technology in to their already functional platform, there is not a great deal of information on this endeavour other than the announcement itself, so there is no information on whether they will be doing an ICO how much the token will be and on what exchanges it will be listed etc, all we know is that it will be named Minds beta token.

It seems that similar platforms to Steemit have caught wind of its success and are now trying to emulate it, i hear news of EOS wanting to implement some sort of social media platform too, all these kinds of rumours can only be good for Steem so i hope they succeed to be honest.
