Stukeleys country hotel in monochrome

This Monday in the UK is a bank holiday? I have no clue why we have these holidays but everyone loves a holiday?
It got thinking about the whole holiday thing? How many weeks holiday do people get arond the world. I should probably do a dpoll on it?

Some things never change like this old hotel built on the old Roman road in the 1st century AD. The road that is, not the hotel. The hotel was built around 400 years ago so it is practically a new build.

This is the Stukeleys country hotel in monochrome. It reminds of all those old movies when seen like this. Dick Turpin and all that banditry.

Another thing that you see a lot of at this time of year is the Crows nests and they always nest near to roads?

I have a theory based on the intelligence of the Crow that they choose to build their nests near to roads because another thing you see a lot at this time of year is roadkill.

People drive way to fast around the countryside and every year it is carnage for the wildlife? Slow down. What is the damn hurry?

Have you ever eaten roadkill?
