I was at Alexandra Retail Centre to buy some groceries. Near the outside of the supermarket, there’s a posted telling me 10 days to Chinese New Year which we is the Lunar New Year which is 5th of February this year. However, LiChun which is the first day of spring is the lesser known new year according to the Hsia calendar is on 4th of February. This decoration at the open area of Alexandra Retail Centre has the Chinese character 春 which means spring. 😎

我在Alexandra Retail Centre买了一些杂货。在超市外，有张海报告诉我还有10天就到农历新年。今年2月5日的农历新年。然而，春天的第一天该是立春也就是2月4日。Alexandra Retail Centre的开放区有这新年装饰有很大的春天字。春快到来咯。😎
