I intend to show you the extraordinary sight of the mountains from the mountains;-)
The lake below is Lake Annecy, France, and I took these photos in summer 2015.

Le lac en contrebas est le lac d'Annecy, en Haute-Savoie, et j'ai pris ces photos en été 2015.
It is a beautiful and priceless reward to be able to enjoy such a view after hours of walking .... if there was not the beauty of the view above, frankly I would not do it for the sport ... LoL
But there, that beauty awaits me at the top and makes me (almost) forget the aches ;-)
C'est une magnifique et inestimable récompense de pouvoir profiter d'une telle vue après des heures de marche....s'il n'y avait pas la beauté de la vue en haut, franchement je ne le ferais pas pour le sport...LoL
Mais là, cette beauté qui m'attend en haut me fait (presque) oublier les courbatures ;-)
