With their lilting vocals and glorious harmonies, they became an internet sensation.

Iman & Amani – “Wain Tany Wain”

Wain Tany Wain(2010)

(Since this is an Arabic song, I was unable to find any information about it in English.  In fact, I’m not even sure if the title of the song is correct. If anyone knows anything about this song, or can correct any errors I may have made in this post, please leave a comment below.)

Iman & Amani

The singing duo comprising the talented Sudanese twins Iman and Amani became a bit of an internet sensation around 2006.

Over the course of 3–4 years, they (or their friends) uploaded a handful of videos in which the twins displayed their lilting vocals and glorious harmonies. They were usually accompanied by a single instrument, either a keyboard or an oud  (a lute-like instrument).   (Image source)

(Several years ago, I had read a bit of information about these twins. However, when researching this post, I was unable to find any information or news about them. The latest YouTube video of them was uploaded in 2010. If anyone can provide any information about either this song or the twins, please do so in the “Comments” section. Thanks.)
