After a bit of a lineup change, they also decided to change the band's name to reflect their new musical path ...

When news filtered back to New Zealand on the name change the local Clevedon/Papakura newspaper was shocked: “The group have changed their name again ... they are now called ... wait for it ... 'BITCH’. We don't think that they got that from Clevedon.” source
