Following two weeks of TMJ (see my blog for the article on it) and a loose wisdom tooth which was taken out a couple of days ago, I can finally eat proper food and am definitely HAPPY! (I also got my piano yesterday, at last - which also makes me HAPPY!)
So, we have...
First up... the Original
Happy - by Pharrell Williams
Such a great and fun song, of course. This was the first time I watched the video - which was equally fun. So, what kind of parodies can I find today?
Crappy presented by Kinsey Sicks
Loud garish costumes on very colorful ladies almost makes up for the voices that strangely fit this mash-up group. Worth a look, though you might want to turn the sound down.
Happy - presentedy by DusDavidGames
A Minecraft parody in Dutch. Yet it's well done and a pleasure to listen to, even if you can't understand the language.
Mommy - presented by Jolie Alois and the Cherub Choir from Crossroads United Methodist Church
This one is mostly going to appeal to the parenting crowd and the vocals aren't super wonderful, but the realistic lyrics and sweet children's choir more than makes up for it. Well worth a listen.
Nerdy - presented by Category5 Technology TV
This was one of my favorites today. The cinematography let them down in a few places, but I really liked the choir touch towards the original video. The song itself is well developed and the video is a lot of fun.
Today's WTF selection!
Darth Vader sings "Not Happy" presented by Nicmac
Okay, I'm laughing at him, not with him... This one isn't for the vocals, but it is worth a view if you're a Star Wars geek like myself! No, he's definitely not happy!
Grand Finale! - from the King of Parody
Tacky - presented by Weird Al Yankovic
What can I say? This is Weird Al, after all - one of the best parody geniuses out there! I enjoy almost all of his work and Tacky is definitely a good example of his talent.
That's it for today! I hope you had as much fun as I did!
As usual, I'm simply sharing YouTube videos on a theme, all rights remain with the original.
