Catchy tune, easy lyrics... video with a lot of imagery. I enjoyed it, but I didn't quite work out the point of decking that guy - surely that's giving a bad image... Still, it's a good song to cover and parody.

It is unusual for me to include a video with the original vocals, but I think these guys did such a perfect job of re-enacting the original video that it was worth including.

It was strangely difficult to find good parodies today. Here are my favorites today...
Made a Cake - presented by Jolly ol Brits play Minecraft
I think this parody was very well planned out. The lyrics work, the vocals are good and the video itself does a great job in portraying the song. I especially liked how they used the cakes to liberally accent the video. I liked the use of the rotating camera as well. An over all well done!

He makes great nods to the original video. Beyond that... playing the part of the ex-boyfriend who made a mistake and is now repentant... well, what can I say?!
Today's Finale
I'm Not Awake - presented by CollegeHumor
As is normal for these people, they've done an excellent job all around. The video is very true to the original, but also true to the change in title/subject. The vocals are excellent as well. Worth a listen - and a permanent place in my playlist. (Note: yes, adult theme in exactly one spot... it's a dream sequence, btw.)
