Hello all fellow Steemians, here's a short photo story about Rohingya migrants who were stranded in Aceh, Indonesia.
Photo of humanity This is my entry for #mypictureday challenge #photography by @timsaid this week, hope you guys like the shot and also the story.
A total of 79 Rohingya migrants from Myanmar were stranded in Aceh, they were previously on the high seas for 9 days, without logistics and fuel. Then the Aceh fishermen who fish in the sea find foreign boat driven by Rohingyas and help them by pulling boats to the waters of Bireuen, Aceh, Indonesia.
Arriving at the fish landing dock in Bireuen, Aceh, the migrants are directly assisted and evacuated by fishermen and police to get off the boat. They were then given food, as well as drugs, because some of the 79 Rohingya were dehydrated and short of breath.
Now they have been placed in temporary shelters in the study buildings in Bireuen, Aceh, to await the handling of conducted by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR).
All assistance to Rohingya immigrants continues to be channeled by the Aceh government and a number of humanitarian agencies for the needs of Rohingya residents during their temporary stay.
This is my original photo and story, without plagiarism!
