I have spent over 15 years of my life, over half of my life, as an addict. I have struggled to overcome severe mental health disorders which exasperated the difficulties I faced with substance abuse. Finally, after extreme dedication and serious focus on my self and my health, I have begun to crawl out from under crushing weight of this rock on my back. Through the love and support of friends and family, I have come to understand that I am worthy of life. I am worthy of good health. I am worthy of an enjoyable life. A long road of struggle behind me, and more to journey ahead, I am grateful for the distance traveled and where it has brought me at this time.
