#NeedleWorkMonday! I make my husband's underpants!

WHAT!?

Yep! You read that right! I make all of my husbands underwear.

I've even won a first place ribbon at the fair for a pair of his (new) boxer briefs!

Why?

Well, if you ask @hippiehusband, he would say,

"Because they are so much more comfortable than store bought. They don't sag, don"t loose their shape, and feel as comfortable as wearing nothing... Well, almost. And they bring fun colors to a borring work wardrobe. It's like a party in my pants!"

I can make 100% customised, perfect fitting boxer briefs for @hippiehusband, for often cheaper than store bought anyway!

I use the Men's Boxerwear Boxer Brief pattern from Stitch Upon A Time.
The pattern is super easy to follow, even for beginners. It comes with a fantastic picture tutorial as well! Several different finish options, like: high rise, low rise, long leg length, cuffs, no cuffs (hemmed), encased elastic waist, sewn on elastic waist, no elastic waist, pouch pocket, no pocket, etc etc.

I use both my serger and regular sewing machine with stretch ball point needles. Although, they can be made with just a regular sewing machine using a stretch stitch (looks like a lightning bolt!).

Most of @hippiehusband's stash is over 3 years old now and holding up great! The fabric prints have faded some, but the integrity is perfect.

@hippiedaughters and I all have 90% homemade undies as well! I use the Stitch Upon A Time's, Bunzies Underwear pattern for ours.

I hope you enjoyed my #NeedleWorkMonday! Thanks for reading!
