For today I made a chicken tinola or chicken soup
I'm sorry but I didn't get to take pictures of the ingredients but I have my own way of cooking it hehe
Ingredients:
Ginger
Garlic
Onion
Chili leaves
Green long chili( not that spicy )
Pepper
Papaya or sayote/chayote
Patis ( fish sauce )
Chicken cube stock or knorr cubes chicken( or if you can make a chicken stock it's way better)
And of course Chicken!
First of, cut the onion, ginger, garlic into small cuts cube or sliced, this way it can enhance the flavor or produce more flavor on your chicken soup
Next is fry the chicken a minute or 2. And then put the onion and garlic together with the chicken,
When the chicken turns into a little bit white or getting into golden color put some water on it. For me I usually put 1 liter of water,
Next put a little bit of pepper, the knor cubes or stock, patis(fish sauce), ginger and let it boil for 2 minutes
After that put the papaya or chayote together with the chili leaves, and green chili and let it boil again for 5 minutes,
And there you have it. When it's done serve it together with a rice and you will enjoy it more :) well that's how filipino eat the tinola so enjoy!! Boun apetit
