About Myself
Hello! I’m natsve54, 57 years old, and I’m the third in a family of nine. I have been in the Department of Education as a classroom teacher for about ten years and presently as a school principal for about seventeen years- a total of twenty-seven years consecutively. Raised by my parents who were farmers in a remote barangay in Masbate several years ago certainly contributed to my inclinations to farming and my love for nature
My Hobby
When I was still in elementary school, I used to walk for more than an hour to reach the school located several kilometers away from our home. But it didn’t stop me from reaching my dreams to finish my elementary level with- fortunately- the highest rank among the graduating class. That’s probably because my teachers were so brilliant and dedicated to their job and I had benefitted from it so much which you will know later what it had contributed to me as a teacher several years later.
During weekends, I used to wear a slingshot around my neck to hunt for birds and some reptiles, and even to catch our elusive chickens that couldn’t be seen in the usual way. I can even go through thick grasses and bushes without fear with only the slingshot with me just to catch birds that I desire. But as I grew older, my view of the hunting habit changed because I already realized the importance of the birds in the balance of nature in our environment.
Who Introduced Me to Hive
On one memorable occasion, my wife had a conversation with the one who already had been a member of the Hive, her close friend during their school days and until now. My wife told me the beauty of it and how to possibly have an income with the platform. Considering that I already have an account with Facebook I have been sharing several Reels that I love- videos and posts- but haven’t qualified yet for In-stream ads for about eight months now. Knowing my interest in being a content creator, she invited me to see her friend who would personally explain what the platform is about and how to be connected to it. She’s none other than @dehai.
She introduced to me the facts about Hive, which I’m very eager to know more about. Assuring me that writing is one of the required skills here, I thought I had found the right place for me to use my God-given talent or skill. She talked about dos and don'ts in hive blogging, how to write content blogs, and about cryptocurrencies I had some little knowledge but I still don’t fully understand what and how to deal with it in the new platform. One thing that I’m optimistic about is how to have extra income with it.
How will I contribute to the Plat Form?
My love for writing is probably one of the most significant contributions that I can give. The other one is my love for photojournalism. I usually take pictures of the things that can be a source of information or an idea in the future.
My experience in teaching and being an administrator are two things that are related to each other. In the beginning, I said, “As part of my self-characteristic, I accepted the task and not thinking of a reward from it, but later I was able to jump more than five times higher than what I can normally do as a reward for what I had done.” I may further write my interesting experience relevant to this statement. It might be surprising but it's real. It might have been difficult, but I made it through. I hope to tell you the success story later in my next blog.
What would Hive expect from Us
I believe that respect for others in the community and following the rules and policies of the administration count primarily. Diligent and productive efforts in addition to the eagerness to have additional income are factors that I need to consider carefully. I am very much willing to share with people what I think they can get lessons for their day-to-day lives.
My inclinations to cooking, singing, playing with guitar, carpentry, and practical electricity are just a few of the topics that I love to share in the future. Traveling experiences to different places may also be compelling to share with others.
However, learning from others’ experiences will be a good source of knowledge. Therefore, it is a two-way experience of sharing and at the same time learning from others, too. I spend time reading others’ blogs to learn from them that I don’t have. For me, there is always room for improvement. I can even learn from children or animals because learning has no end. As I grow older, the more that my desire for learning grows.
