Other Niche Communities Curation Report #1679

OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1600th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

All that's Best of Dark and Bright, for Love Shines Both Ways (Oasis, Schumann, Brahms, Sousa for the Fourth of July)

Upon a night this week I saw one whom I had deeply loved once in a dream ... as charming and kind of manner to me as he had ever been, and as handsome though much aged since I had seen him last ... all the old feeling of pain had flowed away, and as we walked and talked I saw at last the burden he had been carrying in detail that had prevented him from being able to love me as I needed.

When my Hermione gave birth to her kittens (ESP/ENG)

Today I am very happy to be able to share with you another beautiful memory that is part of me, because even though my beloved cat Hermione is no longer with me and I miss her very much, I will never forget her. Many people who see you mourn the loss of a furry friend may tell you "it's just a cat" or "it's just a dog" but I think that maybe those people have no heart or have never really loved a pet, however today I don't want to remember sad things, I like to remember my sweet Hermione as she was, a happy kitty to whom I gave all my love and she knew how to reciprocate it. Today I would like to share with you some pictures I took while she was giving birth to four beautiful kittens that stole our hearts as soon as we saw them 😍.

Hagamos un lindo joyero con cartón y transformemos flores secas para decorar! ESP/ENG. Let's make a cute jewelry box out of cardboard and transform dried flowers to decorate!

Print or trace the mold to the size you need.
Then cut out and mark all the outline of the mold on the cardboard.
Then with the tip of the scissors and the help of a ruler, mark all the lines, cut, then make the openings with a blade where you will insert the lid.
Start folding the marked lines, apply silicone and assemble the box for the jewelry box, pressing until it dries.
Here's how it will look!

University garden beautification process ⛏️🧑‍🌾

This process of beautifying the garden was not something that happened overnight, it took several days of work, however I will mention everything we did with my classmates to restore this space. When the diagnosis was made we could see as you can see in the picture that the place was in terrible condition so the first step was to clean the area as it contained a lot of garbage and food waste.

Once the cleaning was done, we proceeded to extract plants that were already dry and useless, we were left with plants that at first sight were alive and colorful, among them were the commonly called "mother-in-law's tongue" which was perfect for this type of spaces.

Salty muffin gluten free rich in protein Syrian (meditarian)

Last week, I visited my usual international store to buy some vegetables. The owner, Aadib, is Syrian. Fortunately, his wife was there that day, so I asked her for an easy and convenient recipe from her country that she would like to share with me. She was happy to help, but as she doesn't read or write English or Norwegian, she said she would ask her son to write down a recipe for me. When I got home, she sent me a recipe for lentil muffins via WhatsApp. The boy is very clever to explain everything in detail. Although I'm not sure what it's called in their language, I found the recipe to be easy to make, delicious, and suitable for breakfast, tea time, travel, picnics, and even parties.

Strawberries: Enjoying their flavor in a refreshing smoothie / Fresas: Disfrutando de su sabor en un refrescante batido

I am so excited to post here for the first time ! I keep discovering the potential all the communities and this is definitely one of my favorites. I love to cook and make drinks. I tell you that I am trying to consume more nutritious and healthy drinks because I really need the extra dose of vitamins that fruits and vegetables provide, because in the last three months I have had a lot of flu.

Let's make a very delicious toffee from pineapples.

Good morning to all hive friends! How are you today? Today, I would like to show you how to prepare a delicious toffee made from pineapple, perfect for tea time. I used a small pineapple that I had grown at home. This recipe is very easy to prepare and incredibly tasty. For the best taste and sweetness, it is advisable to choose fully ripe pineapples. Additionally, using mature coconuts with a higher oil content will increase the richness of the toffee. A sturdy wooden spoon is ideal for stirring the toffee mixture while cooking. When paired with tea, this delicious toffee becomes a mouth-watering treat. So, let's see how to prepare this!
