Hi everyone! How are you?
Welcome back to my blog. I hope you are all very well. Today I present the portrait of a beautiful woman and incredible actress, it is Lily Collins !. What I like about her as an actress, is that when she is acting, she does it with total naturalness, as if acting goes beyond a simple work, something that she loves, she expresses it in each character.
Presentation of the drawing:
I tell you that I have already drawn Lily Collins on another occasion, but I have always been struck by the wonderful details she has and I did not want to waste the opportunity to draw her again, but I promise that it will not be the last time. As you can see he has very charming eyes, the iris, although it was a bit difficult to paint or achieve those color tones, I was able to make them look as impressive as she actually has them. In short, I enjoyed making this drawing, and I hope you enjoy my demonstration of how I did it.
❢Technical Information:❢
Materials I used:
Color Pencils: Faber Castell, Paper-Mate, Cores, PoxPromocolor and Prismacolor.
Graphite pencil 2H.
Sheet of white thread, dimensions 120 mm x 206 mm.
Draft.
Fine brush N° 0.
Cold paint white and brown color.
Total time to do the work:
5 hours.
Photography:
For the photos I used a samsung galaxy s3 mini gt-i8190.
❢Here I show the step by step of the drawing:❢
Step 1: I made the sketch with the 2H graphite pencil, I use this pencil because it guarantees that the lines are not so dark, this is so that a future when I apply the color is not a problem and I damage the work.
Step 2: Application of colors on the skin. In the drawings I had made in previous situations, when I applied my work technique, I always began to paint by the right eye of the portrait, but here I do it in the opposite way, but in the same way I can compare the two sides, in order to go detailing what I paint and what I need to paint.
Step 3: I finished painting the face. The colors that I used to paint the skin, are shades of light pink colors, for the iris of the eyes I used green, brown, yellow and black.
Step 4: I painted the neck and shoulder.
Step 5: In this last step, I painted the hair, first I used brown, orange and black pencils. with the cold white paint I made lights to the hair, to the eyes and lips. Then I mixed the white paint with brown paint and thus I managed to make more hair, especially those that are loose.
