This painting is part of the Liquid Landscape series, inspired by the waves and motion of water.
Growing up near a massive lake has always been a huge source of inspiration, for most of my life visiting this place and drawing the patterns I was able to see was an interesting exercise.

One of my favorite things is how the sun and colors of the sky reflect on the surface and how simple or intricate these patterns get depending on how close I was from the shore.
This composition originated after one of those sessions of going near that lake and observing + drawing some of the shapes I could capture.
