Today I would like to share with you my second landscape painting of a forest, this is a continuation of the Palette Knife Painting series in the impressionist style with oil color. I call it “We are One”.

As you know I’m a Nature lover. For me Nature is the greatest teacher of creation and wisdom in life. When we look deeply we can see the wholeness and the connectedness between anything or anyone with others. Like the grass, the leaves, the tree, the stream, the rock … in this painting. Every element is a part of the environment and the environment also depends on each element.
With the palette knife, it was easy to make the impasto effect in the painting.
Impasto is a technique used in painting, where paint is laid on an area of the surface in very thick layers, usually thick enough that the brush or painting-knife strokes are visible. Paint can also be mixed right on the canvas. When dry, impasto provides texture; the paint appears to be coming out of the canvas - Wikipedia
