Regresamos con mas jazz para esta semana!

¿Sabes?, para mí ser un músico de jazz, signifique lo que signifique, es un síntoma, no un destino. Cuando pienso en todos mis músico favoritos -sean de jazz o de esto o de lo otro- son todos músicos que buscan de verdad mostrarse a sí mismos en el universo.

Do you know?, for me being a jazz musician, means that it means, is a symptom, not a destination. When I think in all my favorite musician - either jazz or this or the other - are all musicians seeking of truth show themselves in the universe. 

Después de lograr ajustar nuestros horarios, mis compañeros y yo les traemos una nueva participación para el concurso OpenMic. En esta semana 91 se nos ocurrio hacer algo nuevo, algo fuera de lo común en este concurso. En esta oportunidad presento un tema del afamado guitarrista y compositor "Pat Metheny" elaborando una técnica que actualmente estoy estudiando y poco a poco perfeccionando: "Scat"

After adjusting our schedules, my colleagues and I bring you a new participation to the contest OpenMic. This week 91 are we occurred do something new, something out of the ordinary in this contest. This time I present a theme of the famous guitarist and composer "Pat Metheny" developed a technique that I am currently studying and gradually improving: "Scat" 

El tema que seleccionamos lleva por nombre "Better Days Ahead" (los mas cercano al español seria "mejores días vienen") fue lanzado en el año 1989 en el album del guitarrista y compositor Patrick Bruce Metheny  (Pat Metheny)  -Letter from Home- (letra de hogar).

 The theme selected is called "Better Days Ahead"  was released in 1989 on the album of the guitarist and composer Patrick Bruce Metheny (Pat Metheny) - Letter from Home -. 

Para este tema de Jazz Fusión quise intentar darle un sonido particular interpretándolo con la técnica del scat y de esta manera simular ser un instrumento musical como debería ser considerado la voz humana a mi parecer.

For this theme of Jazz Fusion I wanted to try to give a sound particular interpreting it with the technique of the scat and thus simulate being a musical instrument as it should be considered the human voice in my opinion. 

"Scat"

En la música jazz, scat es un tipo de improvisación vocal, generalmente con palabras y sílabas sin sentido, convirtiendo la voz en un instrumento musical más. En español no existe esta palabra ni equivalente por lo que se usa como un anglicismo de scat y scat singing
. El scat da la posibilidad de cantar melodías y ritmos improvisados. Esta improvisación vocal es una forma de virtuosismo que requiere habilidad y entrenamiento, ya que es tan difícil como la improvisación con un instrumento. También ha sido utilizado como un recurso humorístico dentro de las canciones. Aunque este recurso vocal se ha asociado como propio del jazz, ha sido incorporado a otros géneros musicales.

In jazz music, scat is a type of vocal improvisation, usually with words and nonsense syllables, making a musical instrument the voice more. In Spanish there is this word or equivalent which is used as an anglicism of scat and scat singing. The scat gives the possibility of singing melodies and improvised rhythms. This vocal improvisation is a form of virtuosity that requires skill and training, it is as difficult as improvisation with an instrument. It has also been used as a humorous resource within the songs. Although this vocal resource has been associated as own jazz, it has been incorporated into other musical genders.
