Hi there. Oriental Hub is at your service again. After a week of hibernation, we have been recharged and are having our second event - Orientalhub Cover Image Design Contest！

We held the HKJPSG cross-community cultural challenge as our debut event two weeks ago. With 54 entries from the three communities, it was a sensational success, wasn't it? Perhaps you might not have noticed, Orientalhub is rather tiny in size and merely a month ago, we are still in the in the process of setting up Orientalhub and getting all things ready. A cover image for Orientalhub is what we are sorting out right now.
Shortly after the HKJPSG cross-community cultural challenge, we hoped to bring you our second event right away. It always takes time to plan and coordinate. What we can do at the moment is to fill the time gap by launching a small graphic design contest. We need your help in graphic design because neither of us at Oriental Hub is good at it. Your help can help Orientalhub get one step closer to completing the set-up. Winning entries will be used in rotation as a cover image for @orientalhub.

Size of the cover image
@nicolemoker gave a suggestion of the cover image size:
The outer red frame can be properly shown on a 27”iMac screen whilst the inner green zone is good on a screen of the IPhone.
With this in mind, the cover image size limit is 1366x177 pixels (the outer red frame) whilst the 310 x 155 pixels (the green zone) should be the core or focus of your graphic design.

- • The contest is open until 23:59, Beijing time, 15th June 2018. Please submit your entry by leaving a post link of your cover image design to the comment section
- • Please tag your post to #orientalhub-coverimage, or we cannot find you
- • We accept original designs only
- • The contest is open to everyone, as long as you are on steemit.
Judges
@aaronli, @htliao, @honoru, and @prch will choose three winning pieces with the following judging criteria:

Originality: 30%
Creativity: 25%
Composition: 25%
Graphic design techniques: 20%
Rewards
Three winning pieces will share a total of 15 SBD
Winner: 7.5+ SBD (50% of the reward pool)
1st runner-up: 4.5+ SBD (30% of the reward pool)
2nd runner-up: 3+ SBD (20% of the reward pool)

大家好！Oriental Hub回來了！在休息了一星期後，我們即將迎來第二個活動 – Orientalhub Cover Image Design Contest！

在兩個星期前，我們舉辦了第一個活動，她就是香港日本新加坡三地文化挑戰，吸引了54名朋友提交了他們的作品。不過，其實我們只是成立了一個月的Steemit小組織，有很多東西都還沒有完善，包括我們的Cover Image。
在完成了三地文化挑戰後，我們現已在籌備第二個大型活動，不過由於籌備需時，並不能那麼快的公佈活動，故此，我們希望在這段時間發佈這一次的挑戰。Oriental Hub由4人組成，包括@aaronli, @htliao, @honoru及@prch，但不幸的是，我們4人都不擅長設計工作，故我們希望舉辦一個Cover Image設計比賽，並挑選得獎作品作為Oriental Hub的Cover Image。

以Oriental Hub的理念設計一款Profile Banner:
「一艘代表著東方之珠的帆船，航行在香港美麗動人的維多利亞港，準備遠航，闖盪世界，結識世界的人才，與世界建立協同，並宣揚社區融和，建立跨國界的社區與人民的連結。」

封面圖片尺寸
根據 @nicolemoker 的文章， Steemit 的封面圖片的尺寸如下：
以上紅色的範圍適用於 27”iMac電腦，而綠色的部份則適用於iPhone 5S手機用戶，故我們希望封面圖片的尺寸如下：
1366 x 177 像素，並將重點圖案集中在 310 x 155 像素的綠色區域內。

評判
由於得獎作品將會是Oriental Hub的封面圖片，故評判將會由Oriental Hub四位創辦人共同擔任。
評分將按照以下準則：

美術技巧：20%
獎金
這次挑戰將設冠亞季三個獎項，總獎金最少15SBD，分配如下
