The tournament bicycle training continues!
Had a lovely bike ride home from my Mom's place in balmy summer weather this morning, covering about 4kms distance as the crow flies. After morning coffee with my Daughter and Son-In-Common-Law left home, again, and headed for Point Pleasant Park.
It seemed one of the warmest days, so far, this summer. So after arriving at the park a little shaded pit stop at a newly noticed bench was a welcome halt.
After a refreshing break the journey continued to the most southern end of the Halifax Peninsula.
Just as the return journey home was begun a great find was made which brought @pheonixwren to mind for some unknown reason.
After packing the feather find in my saddlebag the climb from water level back to the city ridge brought me to my second bench stop.
From there the route was straight back to home with a quick stop at the grocery store for some supplies.
Google maps show the distance from home to the park and back again to be about 15kms in as the crow flies. Not exactly sure of how to convert crow fly kms to city drivin, but feeling pretty confident that it was at least a 21-ish+kms ride in total today.
Coincidently 3×7=21 for all you #SEVEN77 Folks. 😎
Steem On!!!
