This Sunday will be the last Homeless meal for this year; so if you are in Tulsa, come on down!

We are serving a hot meal to the Homeless Sunday at 3PM downtown. Everyone is welcome to help serve. It is always a special blessing on both sides of the table!

We will be serving Tex Mex, along with tables of goodies. On sweet Lady has been baking cookies and brownies for us to pass out for days.

I am still looking for burrito wrappers, wanting at least 300, because some don't eat burritos. We had 381 last month (turkey really brings them out), and are expecting 300 this time.

We rebuilt the canopies this month, and added waterproofing! We are hoping to get the truck we pull the trailer with, running tomorrow, so we don't have to borrow one again!

We are planning on about 70 gallons of hot food, on 40 feet of tables. I am thinking about making Mulled Cider for a hot drink, for those who don't want coffee.

I will be bringing some dog food for the homeless puppies too. We are seeing a lot more of them now. But they are happy, and look like they eat well!

We are serving in this picture:

All the food we serve is the same as we would put on our own tables, and it is great to see the smiles! The full plates make me smile, and once we have fed everyone, they are welcome to come back through.

We set up at 2, serve at 3, and are usually done by about 5PM.

“Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”
Hebrews 13:2 KJV

I will let you know how things go; Be Blessed!
