Try setting a reminder in your phone so that you have 10 minutes a day dedicated to you and this practice!
โ๏ธAre you unsure of where to start?
You know deep inside your heart what your hopes and dreams are! They're the gateway so close your eyes and listen!
๐Do you want more time to be creative? Maybe you want to dance, play an instrument, paint, juggle...
๐Do you want to learn more? Maybe you want to listen to some podcasts, finish an audio book, take an online course...
๐Do you want to be more active? Maybe you take a walk, jump some rope, do a quick yoga sequence...
Whatever you want to do, give yourself the time for it. It only takes 10 minutes to start!
โจ If you do something at the SAME time every day or on the SAME days in a week, it's easier to stick with it. Consistency is key!
โจ Try to add a habit onto something you already do. For example if you brush your teeth every day after you eat breakfast, you can add something in right after that so that each day you know that when you're done brushing your teeth you... (Let's say your goal is to play piano more so, you play piano for 10 minutes.)
๐ Maybe you want to work out more, so start small, start with those 10 minutes a day on a treadmill and add onto it once the habit takes form.
๐ Try implementing this technique now!
- Get a journal (or an app) that you can access easily to write down notes (you can even use a calendar!)
- Make yourself an accountability chart (maybe it's calendar days with X's and O's/maybe it's an itemized list, whatever you like that shows you and tracks an effort/progress!)
- Write down each day you do that thing that makes you feel great (or more than just that THING), write down everything you do that makes your world shine brighter, let yourself know!
- Take time to be grateful for the flow of love, bliss, excitement and happiness that comes from showing yourself some self care! ๐โจ
๐ There is enough time for you! Don't forget that!
๐You're not last on the list of things that need to be done. You're a priority!

See, habits are formed when we do something repeatedly until it becomes part of our day, something we barely even think about anymore.
If you set yourself some time every day to do what makes you happy and record that, eventually that will just be something you do for yourself that's as predictable as say, waking up every day.
