Yep! just here... thinking out loud!

«-Mental Lexicon-»

It is not what is said but how it is said that carries the greatest weight.

When you simply mimic the values of your current company or workplace without questioning it, your opinion stops being yours. You become a hypocritical piece of clay, (or shit for that matter), molding yourself constantly to try to fit in everywhere. And in doing so, retaining no shape you can call your own.

Conversely, being courageous enough to “do your thing" stand by your values and live your own lifestyle (even if it isn’t popular) is empowering. Because then you develop a strong identity. Gaining authenticity by being genuine and trusting. And gradually, you become satisfied and confident in your own skin.

"When you’re 20, you care what everyone thinks"

"When you’re 40, you stop caring what everyone thinks"

"When you’re 60, you realize no one was ever thinking about you in the first place"

Now, if you are still in the mood to continue reading something useful where you can learn new words, concepts and meanings, then I suggest Google the following:

  1. Sociotrophy.
  2. Apathy.
  3. Indifference.
  4. Insensitiveness.
  5. Rudeness.
  6. Discourtesy.
  7. Incivility.
  8. Thoughtlessness.
  9. Sociopathy.
  10. Psychopathy.
  11. Moral turpitude.
  12. Emotional numbness.

And yeah, what if I tell you there's a cat hidden in this room below? Can you spot it?

Of course don't worry if you can't find him. Just tell me you couldn't make it out in the comments section and I'll gladly show you where he's hidden. ¡That's what we old people do!
