Well, we're back and the holiday is over. I haven't slept in 24 hours, but I have to stay up a few more so that I don't suffer from jet lag. It's the only trick I know works - stay up and have a normal day. You'll get on track faster. But being back also means I was able to get at all the photos from my trip.
One of our favourite days was spent in and around the Golden Temple in Kyoto.
The Golden Temple in Kyoto is almost the perfect photography location. Mirror perfect reflections, an amazing garden and unobstructed views - the only thing wrong are the crowds, but if you're patient you can get shots without any people in them (or almost).
Pretty much every angle yields up another beautiful shooting op. The surrounding gardens are also beautiful...but really most people just come for the temple.
So many photos to share with you all - but first some editing, and then some sleep.
