Color Challenge. Tuesday Orange. Original photography was my very first image shared in the 'Color Challenge for Steemians' as presented by @kalemandra for Tuesday Orange.

Once again the Color Challenge is Tuesday Orange.

And it seems like the perfect time to include 'You See ~ I See' as presented by @marillaanne, to illustrate and describe the processes of creating this ephemeral assemblage, now retitled: 'Embrace the Tangerine of this Earthly Life.'

You See:

  • Pale peach and white roses in an ornately carved little pot.

  • Surrounded by other white flowers resting upon white stones and pebbles.

I See:

  • Like most of my assemblage pieces there is an underlying structure in this work.

  • The numbers 6 and 12: Hexagram. Six pointed star. Twelve pointed star. Star of David. Seed of Life. Flower of Life.

  • Small white stones and pebbles: Twelve points radiating out from a circle.

  • A beautifully carved pot given to me by a friend several years ago.

  • Perfectly formed globe of Hoya. Five pointed stars. Pale magenta vase.

  • The Hoya had been grown from a cutting from my mother's magnificent Hoya plant. Wrapped with care and carried in my backpack, on one of the many flights between Melbourne and Sydney.

  • The number 3: Triangles. The trinity.

  • Three of the most perfect white Roses arranged on top of the Hoya.

  • A soft magenta glow coming through the pot.

This Earthly Life: When you look at these images what do you see now?

Your own love of flowers and/or floral design? Maybe a feeling you have for intuitive placement and arranging. Maybe you have a love for both order and randomness?

Roses may ignite your wish to be pure of heart, kind and loving. Port Wine Magnolias may see you longing for exotic far away places.
