We bought 1500 live ladybugs from Amazon the other day (to deal with the aphids that are running amok on our rose bushes) and now the ladybugs are crawling all over our yard :)
Here is one toodling around on a young lady, Blue Widow (Blueberry x White Widow). 
And yes it is legal in the state of Oregon :)
