Today was a lovely day, sunny & calm. I decided to walk around our homestead taking photo's of my mom's plants just to share on here lol
While She likes to plant & enjoys all this green environment, I would rather be surrounded by tall buildings and concrete.
Probably because I have lived around this kind of environment all my life.
Her Trees...
Consider a tree for a moment. As beautiful as trees are to look at, we don't see what goes on underground - as they grow roots. Trees must develop deep roots in order to grow strong and produce their beauty. But we don't see the roots. We just see and enjoy the beauty. In much the same way, what goes on inside of us is like the roots of a tree.

Her Flowers...
Just imagine becoming the way you used to be as a very young child, before you understood the meaning of any word, before opinions took over your mind. The real you is loving, joyful, and free. The real you is just like a flower, just like the wind, just like the ocean, just like the sun.

She has them in all sort of colors...
Yellow Roses

Red Roses

No idea what some are, like this ones , but they look good and make the compound bright :)

This are so pretty when they open up, unfortunately I didn't find one that was matured

This I'm not familiar with either..

Pink Roses

Her Vegetables..
Go vegetable heavy. Reverse the psychology of your plate by making meat the side dish and vegetables the main course.

At the back of our house we have a back yard that runs probably close to an acre, my mums uses a small section of it to practice & perfect her farming skills lol, this is what I found..
Banana Trees

Kales....We call them Sukuma Wiki in Swahil

Cabbages

Spinach

Some Onions

Some green & Red Pepper

Cherry Tomatoes

Extras...
This is actually some sort of grass planted in a flower pot .

Some Pointless Small Fence...it goes round the compound in patterns,I'll try capture it some more when I have more time.

That's as far as I could go, photography is pretty tasking , and tiring, I think I'd rather stick to penning down. And frustrating when you aren't getting the perfect shots. I don't know how you do it @scottshots, I'll be dropping by for tips for my next round. How did I do though? Lol
Gracious times to all,
With Love as Always,
