I believe you can find flowers any time of the year but still, spring flowers are the most beautiful. This may be because winter can be long and depressing sometimes, especially for those who can't find anything beautiful to enjoy during winter.
As I said before, cherry blossoms mean spring to me and there's no spring without them, but there's another flower that needs to be included here and that's magnolia.
Magnolia to me is like a fussy princess. I can't explain why but I see it that way even though cherry blossoms are more sensitive to anything (wind, rain, etc.).
This spectacular flower is not very common where I live, there are a few bushes but not many, you can't see them everywhere like the cherry blossoms or the wild apple trees. I knew this is the time when they are flowering, so i went to look for them and here it is, a few photos for you.
Again I had to delete a bunch of photos ant had to take three times more as usual due to wind. It's funny because I'm always saying I'm lucky not to have wind here but it looks like every time I want to take some flower photos, there's a light wind just to mess up my work :)
While writing this post I thought it's time to learn more about this wonderful flower and found out that white magnolia, also called Yulan Magnolia, is the official flower of Shanghai. Magnolia grandiflora is the official state flower of both Mississippi and Louisiana. Siebold's magnolia on the other hand is the official flower of Gangnam (Seoul) and the national flower of North Korea.
