Hello steemitians !!!!
Hope you all are all well and enjoying your life!
Today, I am going to show you some beautiful pictures a river that flows not far from my home.
The name of the the river is Shilaboti and it's a brance river of Rupnarayana. I don't really know how, but it is somewhere connected to our main river Ganges which is no doubt, the largest river in India.
This is winter going and as you can see, the river has almost dried up. There is a long and huge barrier made along the one side of the river. It is made to keep us safe from the overflowing river at monsson time.
Almost Every year it causes flood and thousand of people get affected here. The govt. Have some plans for rectifying the situation but no physical work has not started yet.
Just wait for the monsoon. I will show you the real face of the river.. And you will be amazed.
Hope you liked my post... π
