Euro is the currency of the Euro Area and was first issued in 2002. The banknotes are identical across the Eurozone but they are printed in various states. There are many security features such as invisible ink, watermarks, holograms and microprinting.

The 10 Euro note is the second-lowest value Euro banknote. At present time, there are approximately 2,500,000,000 ten euro banknotes in circulation across the Eurozone
