Another installment of my little waterfall series.
These falls are on the Deschutes River in Central Oregon. The Deschutes travels about 252 miles from the Central Oregon Cascade Mountains where it empties into the Columbia River between The Dalles and Biggs Jct. Oregon. Here is a link to more info Deschutes River
From the trailhead near the community of Crooked River Ranch it is about a mile round trip hike to the falls. As you go through the canyon you will see the passage of geologic time in the layers of rock. Steelhead Falls
