At The Entrance to Hwaeom-sa Temple in Jiri-san Mountain, Unexpected Coincidence Between Temples

Jiri-san mountain in Korea is seemed as the mother of all mountains especially in Southern part.
The 3/4 part in all territory in Korea is the mountains.
So, In Korean primitive religion, the mountain god has a very important role, even there is the halls for the mountain god protecting the temples. It could be ridiculous the Buddhist temples to be protected by the mountain god.
Here, what I’d like to say is the important meaning of Jiri-san mountain. So, naturally there are lots of temples near Jiri-san mountain.

In this journey, I’ d like to come by Hwaeom-sa temple, because there is the one of the best 3 buddhist temples in Korean Buddhist temples.

It took almost 5 hours from Seoul by car. In Korea 5 hours distance is a very long way.
As arriving at the temple, I found some strange thing on the road to the temple.
There was no one pillar gate indicating the boundary of the temple on the road to the temple.
Where I found the one pillar gate was at at the wall of the temple.

Geumgang-mun gate was the next after the one pillar gate. As I posted in Magok-sa temple, it was not normal arrangement of the gate. The 4 heaven kings gate is usually the next gate of the one pillar gate.

Interest thing is that the Geumgang warriors of this temple was as same as that of Magok-sa temple.
Both warriors were closing their mouth. Usually one Geugang warrior opens his mouth, and other warrior closes his mouth. It means the beginning and the end of everything.

But in this temple of Whaeom-sa temple, both warriors are closing their mouths as same as those of Magok-sa temple.

Of course the reverse order of the gates between the Geumgang-mun gate and the 4 Heaven Kings gate was same in those two temples.
