Inside of the Pavilion in Gunwee Area, Korea

As entering into the pavilion, the first thing I saw was the gate deteriorating slowly.
It looked like seeing the destiny of Choson dynasty.
Confucianism was the ideology of Choson dynasty.
And this kinds of pavilion was the symbol of Confucianism.

The building was simple.
Unlike Buddhist Architecture, Confucius buildings are simple and moderate.
The abstinence was the very important virtue in Confucianism.
So those virtues of Confucianism were reflected in buildings.
There was no colors on the wall and the pillars.

The scholars had played the important role as like the monks in Buddhism.
This pavilion was the place where the local scholars were gathered together.

Now there was no scholars anymore in the pavilion.
Only the floor was covered with the dusts.
