For this first issue of Pixabay Curation Magazine, we're going to take a closer look at some crypto-related images that have been released on Pixabay in the public domain. Pixabay has a small selection of high quality images that are related to cryptocurrency. The photographs of Pixabay users WorldSpectrum & MichaelWuensch are among my absolute favorite photographs that feature physical cryptocurrency. Which is why they're the first Pixabay artists to be featured in this curation magazine.
Artists featured in this magazine will receive a donation equal to the Steem Dollar portion of the post rewards after 7 days. You can find out more about this initiative by reading the introduction post.
The reason why I chose these two pictures from Worldspectrum, is because they feature an excellent composition and can easily be used as a featured images for articles. His other work, which can be seen on Pixabay, has some rather unique concepts. I'm definitely a fan of the out-of-the-box thinking he displays when putting together his compositions.
Worldspectrum's creations have been downloaded more than 30.000 times, while he's only been a member of Pixabay for 4 months. He mentions specifically on his profile that he appreciates donations, so let's make that happen!
MichaelWuensch doesn't focus primarily on creating cryptocurrency-related images, but has added a couple of professional photographs of physical Bitcoins. I'm a really big fan of all of his photographs, you can clearly see that there's a lot of thought behind them. Hopefully he might be encouraged to add some more pictures that are related to Bitcoin or Alt coins, after receiving some support from the Steemit community.
The image above has been downloaded over 70.000 times and it's featured on many Bitcoin news websites. It has also received Pixabay's Editor's Choice award. MichaelWuensch joined Pixabay in early 2017 and his photographs have been downloaded over 90.000 times in total.
