The Moon

The month almost all of artists await has now landed. INKTOBER month !!!

So here's my first entry for this challenge.
I made my own list so the drawings you'll see in the future will be really quite sentimental and personalised.

In this drawing I used the following materials:

Sumi Ink ( for all of the lines, background and details )
Pencil for drafts and outline
Watercolor brush 7
Water
Limelight Sketchbook

Story Behind The Moon :

Who would not be fascinated by the mysterious aura of the moon? The way it gives gentle light on the earth and how it changes phase is so much captivating. It calms my weary heart and gives light to my path.

My grandfather used to call me Buwan (Filipino word for moon) because my face is lighter than the rest of my body ever since I was a baby. Even until now. My boyfriend calls me Moon too, because my face is glowing ( not as in glowing in the dark ) when the evening comes.
