Another Dreamscape of yours truly.
This is a traditional mixed with digital illustration art work.
Originally made on a small journal notebook using coffee stains and ink.
Suddenly, the biggest Jelly Fish starts to glow and every other jellyfish glowed too. The surroundings darken and they started flying above the waters, in the air. The air bubble I'm still in began to float too and then they carry me up to the highest until we reached the outer space. From there i could see the moon and other stars but no traces of the earth, no traces of the ocean either.

These group of glowing jelly fish led me to a distance planet where everything is black and white, no other human being there. The bubble popped and then I stepped on the surface. Everything is so soft but so small. I am the biggest creature there. The jellyfish fly around me like butterflies, no, more like fireflies because they still glow. The scenario changed into a monochromatic and bright place. All I felt was the lightness of the surroundings and the cool breeze of the planet.
I walked around the corners and saw the succulents all around me, they are so healthy. They also vary in sizes. I love plants so much and this place gave me happiness.
I felt no worries, no sadness. All were just positive feelings. I felt like floating in this planet despite of my size.
I saw a hand holding a string with floating eyeball. I was so curious but i was not afraid. The eye seems to watch over the place like that thing is the guardian of that paradise. Then the eye saw me behind the clouds. It flew in front of me and then...
woke up because of my alarm
I wanted to remember this dream so I drew it again.

Process
It all started with a dream and then I translated it to an illustration on my little journal. I never thought to enhance it digitally but later on i thought that the extra things would be good with it.
I always start to draw with the eyes and the details of the skin. I make sure to use a hatching technique. I gives me a well detailed and traditional feels.
Bonus photos and snaps
Here's my mini sketchbook journal where I drew these things and illustration:

The Waters Up Above: A Digital Painting from a Traditional Work
These Jellyfishes do not sting on my skin but they do have a silky texture and so comfortable with. They gave me an oxygen bubble to resurface back up to the top. We played a little bit.
