A photo summary of my special moments

I basically spent most of today looking at other people's posts about the show. I have seen numerous photos, videos and prose about the event; all of which were a joy to read. I was originally going to make a video of the event, but the likes of @ashtv and @rod.crisafulli have done a cracking job at that, so go watch their videos.

I decided to share a photo summary of my favourite moments of the event instead.

Friday

Setting up with the Promo-Steem team

It seemed easy at first, but when the rubber hit the road, it became clear that setting up a top-class conference stand is really a job for professionals :) After a bit of elbow grease, and a whole load of sugary delights, we got their in the end.

I'd like to pause here to take off my hat to the meticulous design skill of @creatocracy who designed the display to perfection making it incredibly much easier for us to assemble than it would otherwise be.

We wrapped up the evening with some merry merry, where there was much talking, laughing, eating and drinking.

Saturday

Show day

The day started a little off.

I was half an hour later than I planned, getting in at around 10.30am. The event had already started, but luckily I hadn't missed much of the action.
The venue wifi wouldn't support my planned live stream, so I had to stream over my mobile phone data so I couldn't stream throughout the day as originally planned.
My camera battery was down to low, and for whatever reason, my lens had been set to manual focus, so I got a few blurry photos or out-of-focus eyes before I noticed.

I live-streamed the first hour of the presentations, which were by @promo-steem, @utopian-io, @steempress-io , @allasyummyfood, @stach, and @appics.

@ejemai could not attend the event, but @anarcotech filled in with an awesome presentation of STACH

Meeting @roxane - her videos were the first I ever watched on @DTube, and they were actually really helpful. Merci Roxane

I met someone from Wakanda. No doubt she will soon join Steem #wakandaforever 🙅🏾‍♀️
