So Marvel announced the next line up of movies and tv series and needless to say, I have been pretty psyched since then! Especially, characters like Loki and Black Widow getting their own screen time and also the timeline where Loki disappears with the tesseract. Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness has a twist of horror apparently as if mysticism wasn't cool enough already!! :D Just a couple of days ago, I was super excited after seeing a post of Hemsworth doing dome kind of underwater training for Thor 4 and today's announcement felt like a blessing lol
Anyway, we can only wait not for so much of epicness to be unleashed and till then probably binge watch the older ones hahah. I finished my marvel binge for the bazillionth time yesterday and have been watching quite a lot of videos of how things in the MCU are made. From concept, to costume to set, whatever I can find. There was a pretty cool one explaining the costume inspiration in Black Panther for each and every tribe with meaning behind them. I am enjoying making artworks just for fun while I draw out some inspiration and made a Thor and Loki painting today. I love how there colors pop when placed together!
I made it in the same brown sheet with the Dark Elv illustration as this paper is proving to be a superb base for gouache. In some aspects, it is serving to be better than a watercolor paper, for example in the stiffness.
I don't even remember when and where I got the paper but I can still make a full painting on the back side as it is that sturdy! I will go now and do some more research and sketches. Till then, Cheers :)
