A year ago, I got to experience a flight in a hot air balloon, which was located roughly 42 kms away from Jaipur. It was a rather early start on that day as I had opted for a pickup facility and after an hour of drifting in and out of sleep I along with some fellow passengers managed to catch a glimpse of the gigantic balloon.
There were kind enough to give us some refreshments and I had to grab some tea to get out of sleepiness but the moment they fired up the engines on full blast my eye widened as much as they could! All of us gazed at the huge balloon which seemed to be flickering with the fire also giving us the much needed warmth. Lost in these thoughts, I said to myself, "Why not relive those memories through a painting?" :)
