I practiced using a monochromatic palette today in gouache using one of my all time favorite color "Mauve". Being focused on a single colour makes it a lot easier to understand values of a subject i.e the lightness and darkness of that color.
This one is my favorite amongst the ones that I have made upto now. I don't know if it's the simplicity of color and lines but I am slightly inclined towards it than the others haha. This has made me want to try a black and white portrait too. I watched Spider Man yesterday and Tom Holland's face has been too distracting and motivating after that anyway :P I don't have much to say about this as I enjoyed it more than focusing on technicalities.
