This is a weekly, semi-automated post where I will show some statistics and graphs of the development category. It will also serve as a showcase for the staff picks and task requests that were made in the current week. If you have any suggestions or things you'd like to see in this post, then please let me know!
Since this is the final post of the year, I would like to wish everyone a great end of the year and an even better next year! I also apologise for the delay. I've been very busy with Christmas and real life, so unfortunately I didn't have time for this earlier.

Utopian contribution: "Article module: add tags" by @adrielgs
This was @adrielg's second contributin to Utopian v2, and as you can see it was a great one! He even improved parts of the code he implemented in his previous contribution! We are super happy to have him helping out with building Utopian v2, and I'm personally looking forward what other parts of it he works on.

Score distribution in the development category

Number of contributions per weekday

On Monday and Thursday we had quite a few contrbutions. I think it's pretty cool that it's spread out over multiple days, but hopefully one day it will be even across the entire week! Wednesday had the least activity in the entire week, so if you are scared of competition then this is the day to contribute!
Average score, reward (STU) and time before review (hours) per week

Time before review is the number of hours between the creation of the post and the time it is reviewed by a moderator.
The average score of contributions has gone up from 68.3 to 74.6 this week, which is a good indication that the quality of contributions has also gone up! Despite the average score going up, the average reward has unfortunately gone down from 49.1 STU to 43.9 STU. This could've been caused by the fact some contributions weren't upvoted at all, since we increased the rewards recently, and thus the used voting power. Because of this some contributions unfortunately didn't make the cut. Lastly, the number of hours it takes for us to get to a contribution and review it (on average) has gone up a bit from 17.0 hours to 20.0 hours. Obviously this isn't surprising because it was Christmas after all.
Number of contributions reviewed per week

As you can see, the weekly number of reviews is down from 31 to 20. Once again, I blame Christmas. However, the number of contributions over the last two weeks (51) is up from the number of contributions in the two weeks prior to that (49).
Contributors
Number of unique contributors per week

With the number of reviews going down this week it's unfortunately not that surprising to see the number of unique contributors go down slightly from 26 to 18 either.

@helo is by far the most active, and I haven't reviewed anything once again. I more than likely won't have time to review much next week either, as I'll still be spending time with family and that's obviously a priority.
Number of reviews per weekday

As you can see, there was more than one day where we were busy reviewing everyone's contributions (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday). Friday was the day where we reviewed the least. I'm sorry if you submitted your contribution on that day and had to wait a while for your review!
