As you know, what we ask for this second part of the contest is for you to write a fiction story. We’re looking for tightly written, engaging short stories around 1500 words with a fresh voice, cohesive storyline, proper formatting, and competent mechanics.
The prompt for this phase is: write a story about the challenges your protagonist must overcome in order to reach Steemfest.
Your story can be about this year’s Steemfest, a past Steemfest, or a future Steemfest. It can be funny or serious, or even sad, as long as the character makes it to Steemfest in the end. We’ll be judging text only.
Remember that when you post you must use the tag #writeyourownticket and then reply in the official announcement post with a link to your post so we can keep track of who´s posted already.
The reason I´m writing this is because so far, we´ve only gotten one single entry out of the 10 Steemians who are eligible to join this second part of the contest and none is posted as a reply in the official announcement. I know most of you are still working on your story and you want it to be perfect before publishing but still, let me remind you that...
