One Step at a Time: #automaticwin

Abu Dhabi weather is getting better and better each day!

Gone are the hot, humid days. They've been replaced with pleasant, breezy mornings. All day round even.

While I have been ranting about our parking problem near our house, today at work, I decided to park my car far from our office building.

I did not mind walking a little bit more... I even decided to cross the street through the over pass.

I was just a few steps away from my #automaticwin that time and true enough, I achieved i just while I was going down the overpass.

Yeah, yeah... who comes to work at 9:20am?! Haha. So I just recorded my tardiness on the blockchain. 🙊

"Come to work late, but exercise!"

I heard the DJ on the radio say this morning. I did not catch the full context but I liked this line. 😆...

This morning as I came to work, I've already jogged-walked-ran 9kms! It meant getting up early, and being intentional.

Eyes on Goal

Getting up early is already a challenge. Completing the 10,000 steps may not even be achievable for some. But each time I go out, I prove myself that it's just all in the head.

At times when I feel I cannot go on, I just look straight in front of me and put one foot in front of the other. Before I know it, I've already made it!

And I feel awesome about it!

It is being intentional on your workout routine and aiming to complete 10,000 steps before 10.00am.

I am a huge believer of this and I love how it influences my lifestyle, health and personal well-being. Being out there, enjoying the morning sun and having a breath of fresh air is something that you should look forward to each day.
