Fame comes and goes! One moment you are in the limelight and the next you can be forgotten in the mists of time.

You may not want to hear it... but...
Fame blows hot and cold!
Once fame has caught you in its grip, society uses you as entertainment, on TV or magazines, one way or another. And for greed... there is always someone coining-in on your talent!
- Your life isn’t your own. Everyone wants a piece of you. For example, if you write a good book, the public want another and then another. You have to produce new books faster and faster. And in the end it becomes so stressful it’s hard to think up new exciting stories anymore!
- Your time is scheduled so you can achieve constant production and attend social events and interviews.
- You're plucked from your private world. You have to dress and act as the world expects of you… and play the social game, just like a puppet!
And when you can no longer entertain society, you are passed-over for the next bit of entertainment, the latest in-person, and completely forgotten. Like trash thrown out!
So whatever you say and do:
Be careful. People have long-long memories. And it can be just a little thing that gives you a bad name! And you don’t want to be remembered for doing something stupid or unkind.
It is best to be remembered for something good you have done. Something special that has helped mankind in some way or other. So guard your integrity.
Play it `real cool’
Think before you say or do something. Avoid arguments. “Kindness is more important than been correct!” is what the Prophet Thomas S. Monson said.
Focus on what’s of real value to you and use your time wisely. Remember what type of legacy you are leaving behind.
What do YOU get out of fame?
- Recognition opens possible opportunities for the future.
- Finance and investment opportunities.
- Responsibilities require a business mentality and supporting staff.
- Better lifestyle, if you’re sensible and level-headed and don’t put yourself in debt.
So if you want fame:
- Think carefully what your motives are for been famous. Plan ahead and line up your ambitious steps.
- What of value, are you leaving to mankind? What will people continue to use, that you have created or invented?
- Be remembered for the right reasons. Consider the consequences of your invention or creation… will it destroy mankind or improve people’s lives?
So why do you want to go viral?
- Before doing anything, consider where will it take you?
- What type of fame do you want?
- And how will you handle the fame when it happens?
- What will you do with your fame and fortune?
