Very recently something out-of-the-box case scenario happened in the Bangladeshi Cricket arena just before settling in to play the world cup to be held in India. Media, fans and general people have had mixed reviews regarding the matter, but to me it looked as a "wicked-phenomenon".
There are reasons behind my saying so and the cricketing culture in this region should be very critically ashamed of the happening. Few days ago, I have said about it that a key player of Bangladesh cricket who has been playing for the national team more than for a decades time plugged out of the national team squad, only because he admitted with grudge that he has slight injury and his unwillingness to play as a lower order batsmen.

The board officials notably called him at the middle of the night asking him whether he is ready to play as they wish, or else he would be trimmed off the world cup squad that they would declare just pair of days incoming. In the context of cricketing language I wouldn’t say right away if the board to player's dealings be so, if its just or not - but what comes forward is the mixing of black politics or the nepotism that gets a nation to lose achievement that the whole nation deserves.
This phenomenon got major public coverage and the international media highlighted the issue in multiple times. That says how grave was the issue and the indigenous people were just glued to the issue that even ended up violent clash and vandalism in the open streets.
Quite a few days passed on since the event - but people are even now opining and chatting about that, getting busy in social media and a bipolar support in two party came on.
Some of other things go by the phenomenon and there are some of behind the scenes occurrence which is needed to be highlighted. Prior to these events, few months ago Tamim Iqbal decided to retire out of an unknown reason and he seemed as very emotional at the time.
There was enormous public pressure and sentiment created at his premature retirement issue, that ended up Prime Minister's intervention to overturn his decision.
The cricket board seemed guilty and as usual they acted like whim corrupt officials, not having the ability to settle down disputes through compromises. Tamim Iqbal was the captain of the team when he retired and later on his captaincy was taken out from him and handed it over to Shakib Al Hasan. But what Shakib did in the issue would be termed as a blemish to his career and for the recent history of the national cricket team.

Shakib and Tamim played cricket since the day they grew up in the academy named BKSP and from their early childhood they were both friends. They are almost in the same age and had debuted in contemporary times. Sometimes their fraternal relationship went well, sometimes they have had fall out and resentment for some of other concerns.
Both of them are now off age and potentially in no time to play another world cup 4 years later, but the fans of Bangladesh are very much fond of watching them to play together and end their career with a smile, but what just happened there ?
Shakib proved himself again, that he could be a world class cricketer, but to the parameter of greater person - he is not, nowhere there.
This issue would be carried out maybe upto the end of the world cup, the team already played a warm up match and without Shakib,Tamim they could win comprehensively. Genuine matches are yet to be played and I hope they could perform well and make the nation proud. Very good wishes go to them and let the world cup be a good tournament up ahead.
