Gaming has been one of my hobbies. When I hear or see some new games, I tryout the game for a while until a point where the game gets boring and until a point where there is no progress in the game. I mostly play strategy games and also some tycoon games now and then based on my mood. If my real life is going over productive, I sometimes get an urge to waste some time on these games. For the past few days I have been playing Hustle Castle from the play store.
As I have mentioned in my previous articles as well, I like playing games from my childhood. I explore lots of new games from the playstore that interests me. Few days back, I was watching videos in Tik Tok application and that is where I saw advertisements about Hustle Castle. The advertisements came multiple times interesting my curiosity towards the game. The main reason was the look and feel of the game.
I usually play only strategy games and at times tycoon games as well. I play a game until I reach saturation level. If the game gets boring and if there are no Scopes for advancements I usually quit the game. When I also realize that I have wasted enough time playing the game, I decide to quit the game. The only game that I have played like mad is Dota 2. The reason is because of the options we have in the game that will never lead to satisfaction or saturation.
Hustle Castle - Game play
The game play is really good initially. And gradually when we level up the progression becomes challenging. Unlike few other games we have, we don't easily get bored with this game. The concept of the game is a bit different from all other games. Though the graphics is not that great, it is pretty decent for a different user experience.
The game play is kind of similar to clash of clans. They have made the base look very interesting compared to other tycoon games. I have reached level 16 now and the game has started to slow down. Every upgrade is taking more than 3 or 4 hours. The resources required for the upgrade is also very high. And my next upgrades are going to take more than 7 hours. I would like to say that it is a bad strategy. Their intension is to make people buy gems and do the upgrade, I completely understand that but the majority of people will get bored and leave the game. There are thousands of similar games available in playstore and there is high possibility that players can move games where they get better experience.
There is also a premium option available in the game. Honestly the cost of the premium is a bit high compared to other games. Even the purchase of chests and gems is also very costly. I'm wondering who would be interested to buy things for such a high price. Of course there are people who really do that.
I'm not sure if this is pretty new game in the play store or not but to be honest they need lots of improvement to be done in the gameplay. I will definitely not say that it was a bad user experience because for the past few days I really enjoyed playing the game. But I'm just trying to say that there is still lots of room for improvement. There is a concept in the game where a male and female dweller is sent to a living room, they make babies and the babies grow up to become dwellers again. This concept is pretty new and I have not seen anything like that in any other game.
Another that really pissed me off was when my storage was full, the resource rewards that get from battle will just go waste because my storage is food. It would have been great if the resources had reached my inventory and I decide when to use those resources. The game developers are also introducing festivals in the game to increase the reward opportunities. The only problem in the game is that we will not be able to upgrade the buildings instantly and it takes days to upgrade. There is no option in the game to reduce the building time except by buying gems. I understand that is a strategy being followed by all the game developers, but players who get bored move away to other games.
